Big boxes do in fact employ people with the silly notion that if you do things right in the first place with a product that doesn't suck, customers will keep coming back looking to them for intelligent service.Īll in all, IMO if you do a little research and asking around, you might get a starting-point idea of what makes for a good paint guy or not, no matter where he's working. Eh, screw it all no matter - this forum seems to be popular with more misers than should be allowed to exist )īUT - it's not completely unheard of to find guys who do in fact know a world about paint and mixing and matching working at the big boxes. It's usually where you get the *cheapest* of just about everything, but "cheap" and "inexpensive" are two different matters entirely. box stores aren't even where you get the least expensive of everything. Overall- the inability to go back to color sample options from photo (having to restart process over again & again) and the continually crashing makes this app not useful.This is true to a degree, but it's like saying that there hasn't been an independent paint store that hasn't hired the clueless. I also had an actual paint swatch on the wall, so it had a white line around that swatch too.Ĥ. It does leave a white outer line around “painted area”, so that can be distracting. ![]() I had to exit out of the picture completely and restart process just to choose another color.ģ. I didn’t realize I had selected the same color until I clicked on it and then I could see the color name. G.- I accidentally tapped on one color swatch a few times because no names are given (until color is selected) and I wasn’t sure “which black color” in that row that I had already looked at. Once you click on a color and it takes you to your chosen photo, there isn’t anyway to “undo” or “page back” if you don’t want that color.Į. When looking over color swatches, the names of colors weren’t available to see (you’re going on small color swatch alone). Taking photos and allowing app to access certain photos worked fine. Had to reopen and start over again continuously.Ģ. I downloaded and used app for 15 minutes during which the app crashed 3 times. ![]() ![]() The idea is great, but the functionality of app is worthless.
